Hear refers to hearing sound. Hear with your ear.
Jeff could not hear the training coming.
Here refers to the location you are in.
Then the train was here, and in a microsecond, Jeff wasn’t.
Hoard vs. Horde
Hoard means to store up things, usually with a negative connotation. A hoarder is a person who stores up so many things that living becomes difficult.
After she was widowed, Elvia Sansfell hoarded people’s garbage. Her husband had worked in the city refuge department.
Horde means a large group of people, also usually with a negative connotation.
The horde of Mongols broke through the China wall.
